There is some speculation in posts in Japanese as to what Nikka malt is used in the "selection", some do suggest a bit of both. It may be the case, in writing so to speak, but on mouthfeel and aroma it dose not seem to be the case. If anyone else has tried this I'd love to hear your thoughts.- Clint Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01473933963199033747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-936562371243213081.post-48408307363196447422012-05-25T20:52:41.336+09:002012-05-25T20:52:41.336+09:00Intersting Clint. I wonder if The Selection is dominated by Miyagikyo?dramtastichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02389361369954724976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-936562371243213081.post-38607428319803654522012-05-25T19:23:27.913+09:002012-05-25T19:23:27.913+09:00Thanks Brian, locked in and on the "to buy li...Thanks Brian, locked in and on the "to buy list". Regarding smoke, there was literally no smoke at all.....not even a subtle hint in my opinion which a found a little surprising. Though everything brought out by Nikka does not have peat present. Will add your recommendation to the shelf next week hopefully.- Clint Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01473933963199033747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-936562371243213081.post-49147498315470388532012-05-25T17:43:21.665+09:002012-05-25T17:43:21.665+09:00Try the Regular Blend of Nikka 45%(not the 40%) fr...Try the Regular Blend of Nikka 45%(not the 40%) from the same family Clint.
